Soupcop22 Hate your neighbor? Call the gas company to set up an account at their address, then cancel it next week!
  • 03
The people who moved into the building infront of us accidentally set up a gas account using our address instead of theirs. We weren't notified that this automatically erased our account at our own
  • 04
place. And because they cancelled their account, our gas was shut off without notice and it took us 3 days to get it turned back on. Such a major pain in the that we considered doing it back to them lol

ThrowawayLemonCaster Neighbors called the city because the grass was too long in one 3x3 section of our front yard. How do I make their lives a little more difficult?
  • 06
My neighbors are 6 really awful college students that have beef with me because I've had to have them towed when they kept parking in front of my driveway. My wife and I have been sick for the last week and a half, so
  • 07
my grass has grown a bit longer than I would like. I normally keep it short, but a 3x3 section grows faster than the rest. Guess it's a different species or something. The neighbors called the city and reported me.
  • 08
Now I have to go out and mow before I'm actually, you know, not sick. How can I make those neighbors lives a bit harder or inconvenient?
  • 09
I'm thinking making sure they get a flood of junk mail somehow, but I don't know. I'm not exactly a vengeful person, but this has rubbed me the wrong way.

Waste Curve994 Mow daily at 7 am so this doesn't happen again because you're a good neighbor.

South-Height-8070 I have the password to my horrible Neighbor's WiFi. What can I do? I have a deplorable Neighbor that has been trespassing, destroying
  • 12
my property, stealing, and being an all-around . However, I don't have evidence of any wrong- doing other than being a witness. I still have their WiFi password from when I visited, and I can access their WiFi from my living room. What can I do to mess with them?
  • 13
webnellie I had a bunch of college kids living next door and they would have loud pool parties at 2 am. After several warnings that they didn't listen to, I got in their WiFi and connected to all the printers in their house (3 of them). Printed 1000 copies of "TURN THE MUSIC DOWN". After that I never heard a peep.

Thirdtryacharm Stop neighbors from using my trash. My neighbors share the alley and all our trash cans sit in a row. It is a multi-dwelling unit and I finally
  • 15
confirmed and confronted the neighbor who's been using my cans. He tells me it doesn't matter and to use whatever can is empty, but they fill their cans quickly and use ours as overfill.
  • 16
I can't pull em in bc my disabled spouse can't put em out for trash day and this new neighbor and his friends all dress monochromatic. I don't complain when they're in the alley drinking because they're usually done before midnight. I don't complain that multiple cars
  • 17
are parked in front of my house now because I don't own the street nor alley. But the trash can is mine and I don't want to share. Also, if you don't recycle thats on you don't bring me into it. So, without me loosing any blood how can I assert my dominance over the trash bins?

Leehblanc Neighbor has a loud, obnoxious car & motorcycle The guy who lives down the street from me drives a LOUD car. In and of itself, it's annoying, but I could live with it. Same with his motorcycle. The problem is
  • 20
he comes and goes at all hours of the day and night, and he makes noise ON PURPOSE. Instead of just driving his loud I car or bike to wherever he's going, he pushes the clutch and revs the engine on his way down the street. EVERY. TIME.
  • 21
A couple of things: He lives about 200' down a 25 MPH street from the entrance to our development. There is NO reason to do this. No one is out there gawking at his lowered, stupidly decaled Mustang, or his dime-a-dozen crotch rocket.
  • 22
I know how I would have handled this when I was a teen, but that was before every home had a Ring camera. I've tried shaming him (putting my hands on my face and looking WAY too impressed when he drives by). After a year, I
  • 23
started giving him the finger calling him [funny] names I can think of when he drives by with his window open. I've even "forgot" to pick up my dog's couple of times when she dropped a deuce next to his car door. Any creative ideas? a

No-Narwhal1838 Elderly neighbor installed high pitched beeping device to deter deer, I can't keep my windows open during our annual short window of nice weather
  • 26
We've finally entered "sit on the porch" / "keep your windows open" season in western Pennsylvania and my neighbor just installed his new device to keep deer out of his garden, which sends out a high pitched beep every couple of minutes or immediately when it detects motion.
  • 27
The device is ear piercing if you can hear the frequency, which is the case for most people under 40 who have functioning ears. When approached, the neighbor said he couldn't hear it but his nieces could and they complained, but he told them to deal with it because he has a lot of money put into his

garden. When I told him it's impossible for me to comfortably sit outside or leave my windows open, he said "growing season is almost over and I'll take it down after that" - which would be a fine compromise, except when growing season is over that also means
  • 29
comfortable outdoor sitting/ open windows season is also over. We only get a few weeks of comfortable weather a year and I need to soak in the fresh air before winter comes and the seasonal hits. Any ideas?

Itwasareference LOUD Neighbor but with an uncommon twist I live in middle of nowhere BFE, deep in the woods. I moved here because it's quiet and nobody lived super close. Our little quiet slice of heaven. But then a rich dude bought the land next to mine and has been clearing it

beeping. They brought out a stump grinder that sounded like an A-10 doing strafing runs for a week. Now they have dozens of concrete trucks showing up at 6AM. It never stops. I don't mind when my other neighbors rev up their hot rod for a few minutes, but this

construction business is out of control. Right now, they are running an excavator, creating a nice backdrop for me as I write this. I should mention I do sound/record music for a living, so I have been having to reschedule sessions to evenings.

I'm thinking about a nice, LOUD, housewarming party once this guy settles into his nice new home in the "quiet" country. Fortunately, this is America and where we live there are no noise ordinances... Think petty, not jail.
  • 36
lipp79 You said you record sound for a living. Record the construction sounds and then when they move in, just play all those sounds back in speakers pointed towards them at the same times the construction was going on for you; for example, concrete trucks rumbling up at 6am. Play the sounds for as many days as the construction lasted.
